Feature documentary that tells the unique story of emigration of the "Chippers", once the biggest ethnic minority in Ireland and nowadays still one of the most recognized communities in the country. The "Chippers" left their poverty stricken village Casalattico and eventually arrived in Dublin at the beginning of the century, to introduce the "fish and chips" culture into Ireland.
